NTC Tech-Connect 2024 Day-1

It’s great to be at the first Nutanix Tech-Connect in San Jose HQ with around 40 NTC’s from around the globe, lets just say there is a lot of coffee on hand to get us through the varying degrees of jet lag in the room, but what a room full of tech professionals. Representing various customer verticals, partners and distributors which brings a wide view of the various products from Nutanix that we are here to provide feed back to the various PM’s throughout the two days on site.

Kicking off the keynote we had Nutanix CEO Rakiv Ramaswami who had a very engaging first session with lots of questions and feedback on various topics and market trends within our vast and ever changing industry and yes AI was mentioned as it seems to be on every CIO and CTO#s radar at the moment

Next up was Nutanix Cloud Manager

Nutanix Cloud Manager is essentially Prism Central 2.0 with added SAS products under one umbrally enabling you to do self service, intelligent operations and cost governance over your workloads.

Adding in Security Central to help with securing the underlying infrastructure.

Another hot topic throughout the day was Kubernetes, we got the latest industry trends and how Nutanix is well positioned with NKP to help customers’ on their joruney to modern applications.

After a excellent lunch it was time for all things AHV, this was more of an open mic night with very little slides and lots of interaction and discussion around AHV, it’s competitive advantage in the market.

Another very enjoyable sessions was how Nutanix is able to help you manage and scale all sorts of database workloads from various vendors and allows you to manage them all under the one Nutanix platfrom.
