As of Friday 15th of February 2019 I have been accepted and on boarded to get the Nutanix User Group (NUG) up and running in Ireland. Yes you are looking at the Nutanix Champion for the Irish NUG.
It’s a task that I don’t doubt will be tough over the coming year as the I am already involved in running the Citrix User Group in Ireland and even though it is quite successful now as we currently get 30 + and have some international speakers. It was not always the case but if you keep putting on good content and there is a technical focus with no sales pressures it will grow naturally.
To kick things off our first meeting will be held after .Next Anaheim which is taking place the 7-9 May 2019, where there will be various product announcements, keynotes and breakout sessions.
We will kick of the first meeting in Ireland with all the news and updates from the conference along with details of the key product areas and some of the new features and product updates.
This will be a technical user group for all the techs out there who either have a Nutanix install of want to learn more about it, in a relaxed environment, who knows we might round off the evening with a few beers.
